Docker and the Container Ecosystem

I'm a Docker Captain, and a full time Docker and DevOps consultant. I have worked as a sysadmin and developer for over 20 years, and always focused on the leading edge of tech. I've helped bootstrap startups, funded startups, and large multi-national companies adopt containers and automation from small setups to 300+ worldwide nodes serving millions of users/transactions a day.

As a Docker Captain (one of only ~70 in the world) you can be sure I have the latest advice and skills in this fast-moving container ecosystem. As a DevOps consultant, I see many different solutions a year, and can draw on the experience I've had with dozens of org's to help you and your team.

A huge part of my passion is helping others adopt the latest practices to improve speed, security, and resilience. I speak at meetups and conferences often, and provide Docker workshops and training to others in public and private settings.

My colleagues would tell you I'm quick to assess complex situations and swiftly provide advice and next steps for everything from architecting a cloud system to troubleshooting a performance problem. I've got over 30 certifications in everything from Cisco to Security to Microsoft and beyond.
