Throughout his career, Bouker has been and is targeted by brands, nonprofits and agencies looking for insights and unique ways to tap into consumers’ passion for sports and specifically the growing participatory sports marketplace.
With his unique background straddling the major spectator sports industry (experience in NHL, NBA, IndyCar and NASCAR), his change agent approach within media (Men's Health, Women's Health, Runner's World, Bicycling and USA TODAY Sports) and in-depth knowledge of the endurance sports/healthy active lifestyle industry (Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series, Competitor, VeloNews, Triathlete and Inside Triathlon), Bouker has been sought out by FOLIO, RunningUSA, the Run Walk Ride Fundraising Council, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and University of Denver as an Adjunct Professor, to speak regarding marketing, event management and corporate sponsorship.
Bouker, an athlete himself; summit Mount Rainier, completed an Ironman, the NYC Marathon, the Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike race and numerous other events, holds a Masters Degree from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Born and raised in Colorado, and now living in New York City, Bouker is married to Jennifer and the proud father of Weck.
