I have a wealth of the first-hand information about what kind of people software companies are looking for, how they conduct interviews, who they really hire and everything else you may possibly need to know about how to get a job in a software development organization.

As an executive level IT consultant every couple of years I have to go through 15 to 20 interviews to get my next contract. Once I land a contract my first task is, usually, to assemble a team. To hire 5 to 10 techies I have to conduct 50+ interviews in early stage with many more throughout the project.

My students and clients are happily employed by IBM, Microsoft, HP, Boeing and many, many other big players in tech sector, telecommunications, finance, commerce, health care and more.
