Bonita has been a valued board member of Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas for three years. In addition to her strategic leadership during board meetings, she has taken an active role in representing the board at various site visits for funders, as well as speaking engagements at council-wide events. Dr. Vinson served as a great educational leader. She always made sure her staff knew she was available to help and support them in the classroom. If ever she had to address any concerns, her approach was diplomatic and encouraging. While at LeTourneau, I felt Dr. Vinson was my biggest supporter and advocate, and she enjoyed witnessing my success with students in the classroom.
