I am not only an experienced tradesman but with these multiple skills and responsibilities it has lead me to be a very intuitive thinker and self motivator. I have lived through a lot in a short time and I am here to help in any way possible.
I’ve had almost a decade in management and group leader positions. Still to this day, mind you that I am only 26. I have people twice my age that come to me for counsel and support to be better versions of themselves.
I know sometimes it’s hard to find that next step in where you’re at in life but I’m not one to give up even if you have. All it takes is up to 10 minutes in a different perspective to possibly change your life forever!
The answer is very simple. Respect and praise. These two things seem like they would go hand in hand but honestly the further up you climb the ladder of success it’s hard to give others what you’re looking for yourself. Pay also goes a long way but in all reality, if we can all be honest with ourselves no matter how much we make it will never be enough after a certain point. The biggest thing that will keep your employees working for you is simply gratitude of their skill sets that they have to offer no matter what skills they may be. Everyone wants to feel excepted and wanted.
Look at the people around you. Are they breaking physically or mentally? Are they better than you (absolutely not). Do you see determination and pride when you see them work? These are all things that come with time. You will own what you do if you want it bad enough and once you find that want and desire to be the best nobody can ever take that from you no matter how you may judge yourself for that day, week, or month. The comeback it always bigger than the set back!!! You just got to want it!!!
