Managed innovation program to transform Just Energy from a retailer to an energy advisory. Launched 3 products in scale resulting in EBITDA contribution of $2.5 million. Directed ideas and cross-functional team from inception to completion, pivoting based on data metrics and consumer feedback.
Led the ideation of an energy shopping advisory service. Designed product structure and customer value proposition, pricing and bundling strategy; implemented a comparison algorithm, built e-commerce website, launched online door-to-door consumer marketing campaigns. Resulted in 8,000 unique visitors and 250 customers.
Designed a product based on smart thermostats data to deliver customer value. Architected data acquisition, launched pilot for 10,000 customers. Identified new revenue paths and implemented technical solutions increasing innovation lab projects turnover rate by 40%.
Initiated a consolidation process of unused customer data. Directed teams to digitize installation work orders and customer premise information as well as thermostats email alerts into a centralized database. Generated $180k in new sales leads from data queries.
Developed financial forecasting models to examine new products projected short and long-term growth based on key indicators, sales projections, cash flow analysis, valuation, assets, liabilities and credit risks.
