Athena did a great job as the special events coordinator at DESTIN Society. She was impeccable with her planning, especially with the industry dinner which enabled the members of the DESTIN society to interact with several officials across different organizations working in international development. She was particularly keen in understanding what the members of the society wanted and constantly kept informing us about the opportunities that existed. She has great knowledge of the sector and is highly skilled in bringing people from different backgrounds together for collaboration.

Athena was my classmate at the LSE and she was responsible for the organisation of the Industry Dinner with 100+ participants. The event was a huge success and was organized in a highly professional manner. Athena possesses outstanding communication skills and is a brilliant networker. Besides that, she is such a bundle of energy, optimism and readiness to help, it was a real pleasure to have her around.

Athena is a dynamic source of energy, ideas and information. While at LSE I had the privilege of getting to know Athena and working closely with her and she is still one of the first people I go to for advice, connections or support in the social entrepreneurship world, despite the distance between us.

Athena organized multiple events that had high attendance. She was great in communicating with participants what the purpose of the event was. All in all, she is professional and ensures that the job is done on time, to produce great results!

Athena was such an enthusiastic champion of programs that created a more supportive environment for LGBTQ students and others. She worked with me on projects that enhanced the quality of the student experience, especially those on the margins. She was dependable and very personable.

Athena is a detail oriented project manager who has an eye for starting initiatives that fill the need of marginalized and neglected communities. Her work within the LGBT groups has set a precedent that exemplified the advantages of collaborated events within the Toronto area LGBT community.

Since meeting Athena some 5 years ago during university, I've had the pleasure of attending numerous events that she's organized. Chock full of creative ideas, Athena understands her attendees very well and always delivers content that meets their interests. My all-time favourite event is Project OUTPost, a queer-friendly art exhibition inspired by Post Secret. She's incredibly personable and creates a warm, welcoming environment, a subtle yet crucial element in building loyalty among attendees.
