Running a small business is always a challenge. Keeping that focus on delivering as well as growing the business so often is a trade off. And when the growing business bit gets my attention focusing and being effective I have always found to be difficult. Going off on a whim or tangent would ring true, following a notion, just not getting it right or spending valuable time with no decent results and return can often be the case.
I recently attend a workshop on developing your business run by Simon Smith from Simon Smith Coaching (www.asksimonsmith.com). It lasted only 2 hours so did not interfere with my day too much. But in that time I saw how to focus in on what I really need to say, where my time and resources should be allocated, how to give my business the edge over the competition when it comes to winning new business.
Networking is how I have marketed my business for over a decade and it has always worked, but I know that with focused time and working and networking with the right people delivering the right message, a message that potential clients want to hear and not what I think they want to hear, will make all the difference. I have come away after the 2 hours newly inspired and with a set of tools and knowledge to do just that.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Simon's workshops and his 1-2-1 coaching to anyone wanting to grow and develop their business. You will experience an objective, knowledgeable and fair but honest approach to growing your business and if you then choose to implement, or through coaching have Simon assist with implementing, I do not see how your business will not grow - and grow way more than you could ever expect.
Simon, thank you, you have done your bit - now I have to do mine.
