Career Mentorship You Always Wished You Had (Physical Therapy)

I am a dedicated physical therapist, advanced clinician, educator, and mentor - passionate on empowering physical therapists to thrive and not just survive. I strongly believe that the current system of managing burnout in the healthcare industry is missing the mark by a long shot. It has been normalized to "learn through practice" and the mentorship that is provided is sporadic, short sighted, and only a temporary band-aid to the bigger problem.

Evidence has supported again and again that the keys to making an impact on employee satisfaction are 1) structured mentorship and 2) high self-efficacy. My mission is to advocate on behalf of clinicians to lead organizational level changes in how burnout is being assessed and managed.

I am an active mentor through the APTA of Massachusetts mentorship program and founder of MentorMotion Consulting LLC - a company focused on providing individualized continued education and mentorship to clinics who do not have those resources.
