UX Designer & PM advocating for inclusivity. Dog lover, doer & DIY'er, proud swiss army knife
Adapting participatory international development approaches, I'm an inclusive UX Designer. Participation is key to creating person-centered and meaningful programs. I challenge assumptions and promote the active inclusion of under-represented populations.
I manage multiple projects and design user experiences for mobile applications and websites, often with vague and shifting priorities. I balance quality with timing - establishing clear deliverable and expectations.
I contribute to ongoing organizational strategic planning. I oversee the implementation of grant awards and develop evaluation measures for assessing the success and outcomes of programs. I serve as the liaison between donors, partners, clients, and the community.
Utilizing my training in creating positive behavior changes with cognitive behavioral health skills training to at-risk youth, I create effective programs. I worked with youth and their families to change patterns of behavior and understand motivations for decisions and actions. I completed heuristic evaluations, market research, evidence-based programming, user interviews, among many other evaluation methods to determine the success of current services and options for expanding programming at the ranch. For one project, I designed and implemented innovative workforce development program to provide behavioral health supports to youth to help them improve their career options.
Andy was thorough in her instructions and helpful in regard to the issue I was having. She was articulate, understood what I needed and gave clear advice. She included follow-up directions too which I obviously needed.
Andy helped design and build my website a year ago (and did a fantastic job). Spoke again about how we can update and modernize the website to improve user experience. I'll continue to be working with her on this as she does amazing work.
Andy helped me refine some of my ideas for a new project. She was polite, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in helping me develop this concept.
