Andrew worked on a team of mine for 8 months, where we built a backend (SOA) data processing system. During this time, I saw how he puts great care into solving problems from many angles. Having implementing an Agile process within this team, he was a keen adopter and was able to cultivate the ideas and own many of the decisions we made to improve our teams work efforts. I continue to highly regard Andrew, and I can ensure many more future successes like this.

I would recommend Andrew for any software project.
Source: LinkedIn Liam Smith Nov 16, 2013Andrew is a great team player and works well within large cross-functional teams. On our project, Andrew was a key resource in evaluating the technologies that were to be applied to solving a client's needs. Andrew has a strong grasp on analyzing code complexity and was able to quickly identify anti-patterns within the client's code-base, that once addressed would reduce their operational costs. This was a key win on our project.
I would not hesitate to work with Andrew again in the future.

Source: LinkedIn Tony Lynch Nov 16, 2013Straight up: Andrew is one of the smartest people that I've ever met.
We worked together during the design phase of a website build for a company that is very, very large, and has many, many systems. Not a problem for Andrew: He was able to understand, map, diagram and effectively communicate their application architecture. Collaboration with him was essential to designing a system that was technically feasible.
Andrew was also able to make insightful recommendations around improving the client's application architecture with respect to performance, scalability and cost.
Andrew's always up for a challenge and he can tackle them with ease. Better yet, he can explain the most technical and challenging things in simple terms, making him an effective communicator to clients, as well as cross-discipline team members.
And probably the most important thing: Andrew is really great to work with. He's extremely funny, easy to talk to and well-cultured. He tells great stories and can recommend some pretty enjoyable things to do. I'd work with him again in a heartbeat.

He is realistic and has an engineering perspective on estimating and completing work. His approachability and skill in verbal and written communication makes it easy and efficient to convey ideas, designs, and general day to day activities. I can vouch for Andrew as a motivation for the rest of the team, large or small.
