Andrew is a driven, entrepreneurial, and Harvard-trained Diagnostic Neuroradiologist practicing at South Shore Health System.
Beyond his clinical practice, Andrew has extensive professional interest and experience at the interface between AI/Machine Learning and medical imaging. This includes several years at IBM Watson Health Imaging as a senior radiology consultant, as well as consulting independently for numerous small and mid-sized AI/ML start-ups.
In addition to significant clinical and translational research experience, Andrew has published numerous papers on leveraging AI, ML, and social media in radiology to ultimately improve patient care. He was a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School for 5 years, lecturing and mentoring both HMS students and radiology residents.
Andrew completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. He holds a Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. He is a proud member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honors society. He also holds a B.A. (with honors) in Neuroscience from Boston College.
