User Experience design has a foot in product design since multiple decades,but back then it was strictly UX research. Today, UX became the alpah&omega of digital products, because its impacts ultimately increase conversion, retention, referral and thus revenue.

Ask me about processes to conduct design thinking idea storming, guerrilla interviews, interview tools, how to read the insights you gained, how to increase real collaboration between developers and UX units and whatever you come up with... but DO NOT ask me about labs and artificial focus-groups.
