How to Get Started With Working in AI

Currently an AI researcher at Wadhwani AI, I work on using AI for agriculture for early pest detection and maternal child care using AI to estimate anthropometric measurements. In the past, I have worked on Applying AI on satellite imagery for the problem of change detection, genomics, thermal and medical imaging. Graduating from IIT Guwahati, I have taken various courses on Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. I also started a study group focused on learning AI and regularly advice people on how to break into AI.

The biggest advantage of working with me is that being an independent learner myself and having tried various resources out there, I know what the best practices are for someone to get started and stay motivated.
