Ali was the most hard-working person I found in the Humanities' dept of Shahid Beheshti University. When I started my first year at SBU, he gave me and my classmates all the help we needed to get started and was always there to give us information on courses and help us with creative activities in the field of English literature. He helped organize the ESL club which involved performances, poetry clubs, monthly lectures by the professors as well as publication of a local magazine that contained the writings of students of English literature.
