I started and operated Fetchnotes while at Michigan for a year before leaving to go full-time. We launched a product, built a team, etc. while enrolled and balancing my startup work with classes.

I ran the editorial page editor of The Michigan Daily, started a media outlet called The New Student Union, and was VP of a venture-backed financial media outlet called Benzinga. I can likely help with things like editorial strategy, writing advice and journalism/interviewing tips as well as things on the business side of things like management, distribution, etc.
I wouldn't say I'm an expert, and there are better people to talk to about this than I, but I've closed financing before and can certainly offer some tips.

I think the only thing that makes me successful as an entrepreneur is I am really good at bringing talented people together to do great things. I built a great team of columnists at The Michigan Daily and I'm doing it again at Fetchnotes.
