Brand Strategy and design thinking with a dash business model design, and service design. Lover of frameworks. Let's talk about how to get our head around complicated challenges.
Branding is the process of changing the way people feel about your product or service.
When customers use your products and services, they experience your business. This shapes their perception of your brand and alters the way they use your products and services. By making a conscious effort to design your experience, you can ensure that your customers understand you, and affect how they engage with your business.
We handed Alex a dense academic paper describing the foundations of our product and he delivered a highly effective website that communicated our vision and the value we create for our customers. Alex worked with us in a very methodological way to uncover a voice and identity for our company. It is always a pleasure to work with Alex - he has big visions and big ideas, but is focused on delivering the best results possible. We started a website project with Distill and are now incorporating their Design Thinking into our SaaS product - which says it all!
I've worked with Alex several times over the years and each time I've been impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and dedication to the project goals. He has deep knowledge of design, branding and identity development, and pairs that to a sense for authenticity that is sorely missing from the advertising and marketing space in the Bay Area.
He's a uniquely talented guy; consider yourself very fortunate if you have the opportunity to work with him or have him on your project.
Alex worked with my team to help construct a life-size, functioning, experience prototype of a fast food restaurant. He was a great addition to our team. (and personallyI think he's kind of a wizard.) I'd work with him again someday if I have the chance.
Knowledgeable, good resources, easy to work with. Made proactive and substantive recommendations that truly paid off down the road.
Alex and I worked together on a couple of projects with both difficult clients and difficult deadlines (they often go together of course) yet both yielded great success. He's got a straight forward way of communicating that is respectful yet pragmatic.
I'd certainly work with him again.
