Alan presented to our START network for small business owners (Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Enterprise Board) last night on the topic of Creating an Effective Email Marketing Campaign. He is extremely knowledgeable on this subject and succinctly outlined the power and potential reach of email marketing for business. Alan's talk was timed perfectly and was most creative and informative.
Source: LinkedIn Angela Tynan Apr 11, 2014Alan provided an excellent introductory talk on using email marketing for my class of creative and digital marketing students by way of Skype screenshare. The material was well-prepared, covered the brief, and Alan was most helpful to the students during the question and answer session. The students commented afterwards on how instructive they found the talk.

Marketing in this form makes sense and it works!
I recommend Alan as a marketing consultant and he will not only be able to provide advice but his company Toddle will also be able to provide you with tools that drive your marketing activities.
Source: LinkedIn Claire Burge Apr 11, 2014We hired Alan to redesign our web application with a view towards increasing conversion. In what we thought of as a complex proposition he radically simplified and brought a huge degree of clarity and confidence to the project. The end results was a massive departure for us, however thanks to Alan's understanding of our vision the end result surpassed our expectations.

His process involved making us think outside the box a little to get results _in the box_. I would recommend Alan and Spoiltchild to anyone who is serious about their web presence.

He’s a fantastic graphics designer who’s also successfully launched his own web-based business – see www.toddle.com. This gave us confidence, not only in his ability to design a homepage that works, but also that he would keenly understand the issues before us. He gave us useful advice for brand related issues and also how he went about developing his own business. I am delighted to recommend Alan and wish him every success.
Source: LinkedIn Teri Morris Apr 11, 2014In my opinion, creating a truly excellent web user experience requires expertise in three things. User interaction and flow, graphic design, and crucially, the actual explanatory text on the screen.
In my experience it is rare to get expertise in two of these in a graphic designer and I have never seen expertise in all three - until I engaged Alan.
Alan and Spoiltchild advised and worked with us to design the core user experience of our new travel web application. He helped us refine the users goals coming into our site and leaving it before starting on the interface design. The design was great and Alan was a delight to work with.
Excellent value for money. I will continue to work with him
Alan and the team at Spoiltchild delivered a great integrated safefood campaign across the website, facebook, twitter and email. The design looked amazing and delivered a great response across the board. They delivered on time and on budget.I continue to work with Alan on a range of projects.
