I am an Operations & Supply Chain Management professional with 16 years of experience in the FMCG industry with a PepsiCo franchise operation. My areas of expertise include continuous improvement, strategic supply chain development, logistics planning and execution, inventory management, and demand & supply planning. Additionally, throughout my career I had extensive exposure to facilities planning, storage solutions, and automated material handling systems. Example of the projects I lead include:  Building the supply chain department from scratch and leading the development of the company’s long term logistics strategy, including network rationalisation, warehouse capacities, primary transportation strategy and sales distribution operations.  Automation of material handling and storage systems including Laser Guided Vehicles (LGV), Automatic Truck Loading (ATL) systems, Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS), and automatic order picking systems.  Designing and implemented Supply Chain's Continuous Improvement program based on Lean and Six-Sigma principles, as well as implementing PepsiCo's Continuous Improvement program in Manufacturing operations.  Reduced Finished Goods inventory from 8.5 to 6.0 Days of Supply (DOS), while maintaining service levels.  Leading the the development of a new, purpose-built distribution centre, as well as the design and process re-engineering for expanding existing warehouse facilities.
