Akanksha Gupta is an Engineering Manager at Amazon AWS and Amazon Bar Raiser, where she drives hiring excellence and engineering leadership. Her career spans leadership roles at Robinhood, Audible, and Microsoft, with an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University, NYC.
Author of the book-Think like a Software Engineering Manager, Akanksha is an EB1-A Einstein Visa recipient, Fellow of BCS and IET, and member of IADAS (International Academy of Digital Arts and Science). She has served on the Grace Hopper committee review for the Software Engineering track and as Track Chair for the Global Women in Tech Conference. As an active speaker, she has spoken at various conferences like WomenIn Tech Global conference, The Black is Tech conference, GeeksGirl Mexico, Tech Lead Journal podcast, NJ DevOps meetup and more.
A passionate advocate for Women in Technology, Akanksha actively mentors early-to-mid career professionals through PlatoHq, GrowthMentor, and Topmate. She has judged prestigious awards including Stevie Awards, SIIA Codie, Grace Hopper, and Webby Awards.
