Adam recently started TapNexus, a Mobile Analytics company funded by SoftTechVC.
Adam joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2009 and focuses on Software infrastructure and consumer investments with software IP.
Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Adam ran a Sales team in Bangalore and was on the Product Monetization team at Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Adam worked at Menlo Ventures, where he sourced early-stage investments in AeroScout, Carbonite (IPO 2011 – CARB), Ingrian (acquired by SafeNet) and PlayPhone. Earlier in his career, he helped build v1 products in mobile applications and Internet video and industry leading CRM products at Siebel.
Adam received his BS in Computer Science from Stanford University, then went back to get his MBA at the Stanford GSB a number of years later. At Stanford, he ran the BASES E-Challenge and started a security software company with his best friend.
Adam started coding when he was 16, building GPS tracking systems in Matlab. The first start-up he worked for had a $3B IPO (iBeam Broadcasting) - after that he was hooked on start-ups.
Outside of work, Adam is a co-founder of the Glow Foundation, a non-profit that has provided financial education and aid to thousands of college-ready students and improved financial literacy in America since 2006.
