One of the most common questions I receive from wannabe sellers and entrepreneurs is what product should I start out with?
The most common way to go about is using online product research methods and tools to gauge demand, the most popular being Junglescout and Helium 10 in 2019.
There's a cavaet though: there's 0 guarantee of how much you will sell, especially on the most popular platform, Amazon.
The reason is simple:
Your real sales figures depend more on the sales channel, specifically:
I.e. how many do you have, how much you control it, how much competition there is on them and if you have a warmed up audiance you can tap into.
Blindly sourcing a product with good demand/okay competition and slapping it up onto Amazon is still risky. Maybe it will sell or maybe it won't.
In this consultation, I share strategies not only how to validate products for online sellers, but to how to build an audiance you can use to get product ideas, how to add value, get presales and even reviews.
Perfect for would-be or new shop owners, but the strategies apply for established businesses too.
