Ann’s passion is helping people to regain their vibrancy and zest for not just life, but living. By looking not just at the symptom but looking at the whole picture, she helps her clients find not only the root of the concern, but how to thrive while healing.
Her focus is on individuals looking to improve their performance; whether that means getting pregnant (fertility issues), surviving a busy work and home schedule, or athletes struggling with the anxiousness and restlessness prior to competition. Each of Ann’s clients has a passion to not just succeed, but live vivaciously in the life they choose. Often this requires help with diet and lifestyle choices in addition to therapeutic and recovery approaches.
Ann graduated with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (now Bastyr University) in the United States. She is licensed in the state of Washington, is a Diplomat of the NCCAOM, and is currently going through Ontario’s Acupuncture Registration Process. Outside of acupuncture, Ann has spent her free time coaching rowing since 1995. Currently she is an assistant coach at the University of Western Ontario.
Because of her wide experience with sports and training, Ann enjoys working with all types of athletes and has worked with members of the United States and Canadian Rowing Teams and their developmental athletes. Ann also enjoys various arts and crafts endeavours, and speaking on how anyone can improve “Life Performance” through conscious choices.
